Basketball is a sport that requires teamwork and cooperation between multiple players. But much of the club team time is spent explaining and walking through offensive and defensive sets. This is vital to any team but can also leave an athlete to spend time standing around. Many players use private training to work on their personal skills, and1-on-1 trainings have many benefits, but basketball is a team sport, there are many team concepts and decision-making skills you just cannot work alone. Clinics and camps in most of clubs are open to all levels, and a 13-year-old practices next to an 8-year-old beginner. Palo Alto Huskies focus on helping older middle school and high school players more advanced level skill development and scrimmages.
